How To Change The Ownership Of A Google Doc

If your affiliation with Chocolate-brown is catastrophe or irresolute, we recommend transfering ownership of important documents in advance of the termination of your account.



Recommendation for Departments

If your section has a shared mailbox (e.g., psychoceramics_department@brown.edu), a good practice is to brand this account the possessor of all important department documents. This way, they will non be dependent upon an individual's business relationship.

Transfer Buying of a Single Document

In the document'due south sharing settings:

  1. Go to the document's sharing settings
  2. Get-go make the desired owner an Editor (if they are not already)

  4. Change their role to Owner

Transfer Ownership of Multiple Documents
